Everest in a week!!, 9 August 2014

Story

Myself and a friend (the great Jonny Rough) are planning to hike/run/crawl up Ben Nevis for charity. Not once, but seven times... in a week!

The climb is from 20m above sea level at the Glen Nevis Youth Hostel to 1344m above sea level at the top of Ben Nevis. The climb is 1324m every day for seven days with a total climb of 9268m. Everest is 8,850m!

We will be doing this from the week following the 9th August.

I will be posting daily updates from the Map my run app (this gives a time and GPS evidence!) on the facebook page:

https://www.facebook.com/EverestviaBenNevisChallenge

100% of donations will go to charity and this is all for CHAS, who run childrens hospices in Kinross and Loch Lomond.
