Story

Hey

So, after finally losing a lot of my weight (18st ---> 13st - go backwards on my facebook profile pictures!) I've decided I want to run this year's Lincoln 10k (6.2 miles) race for Cancer Research UK.  I've never really fundraised for charity before and I have always wanted to do it.  So I decided to raise money for charity and personally celebrate the loss of my weight, in my own way.

As I have not raced before, I'm going to have to train pretty hard to be able to do the race in under an hour, which is my goal and anytime under an hour will be a huge achievement for me.  I will post my time after the race in a bid to attract more donations (if my time is any good!)

I've decided to run for Cancer Research UK because it's a great cause needing urgent support and with my nan having a breast cancer scare a couple of years ago, and luckily beating it, its something that I feel needs a lot of support. I haven't really got a target sum in mind, just as much as people are willing to donate, but £100 would be an awesome figure and would really motivate me to beat that 60 minute barrier!

So, please sponsor and support me and help a great cause!
