Last year I completed this 10k Road Race in 59 minutes and raised over £1000 for the amazing NMC.

I was really chuffed to complete the race having never been a runner and never raced before BUT I thought I could do better and vowed to do it again this year.

Then Ben said he'd like to have a go too so we decided we'd train together and both enter it again this year.

Youth v experience?

We've trained really hard for the last 12 weeks and hope to turn in decent times. Ben will probably beat me which is great and I just hope I can do better than last year.

I wasn't going to ask anyone to sponsor me by so many people have asked me where my sponsor form is I thought it would be churlish (!!) not to allow anyone who was so inclined to make a small donation to support Ben, me and the NMC!
