Hello and welcome to my page! In June 2011 I will be doing the 5 peaks challenge in Scotland, England and Wales to raise money for Cancer Research UK.

     The challange involves climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Great Gables, Cadair Idris and Mount Snowdon all in the space of 72 hours. We will be travelling between the mountains overnight and sleeping on the coaches so this is more challenging than simply climbing mountains!

    There will be around 65 Loughborough students in total taking part all in the name of RAG (Raising And Giving), a fantastic organisation that operates within many universities throughout the UK but, naturally, Loughborough is the best, breaking the million pound milestone for the last academic year.

    Having said this, the charity I am actually fundraising for is Cancer Research UK. A world leader in researching ways to prevent, diagnose and cure cancer, the work they do is truly amazing and is helping improve the lives of millions of people around the world. However, there is always more that can be done in the fight against cancer so please, any donation small or large, will help me reach my fundraising target of £350 and be hugely appreciated.
