Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Our daughter Sophie was born with a rare condition called Congenital Melanocytic Naevus (CMN). It means Sophie has large birthmarks on her face and body. Sophie is under the care of Dr Veronica Kinsler at Great Ormond Street Hospital and she and her team are working towards a cure.
Next year I will be running the London Marathon (not the virtual) for Caring Matters Now, the CMN charity that supported our family when Sophie was born and continues to do so today. As well as help funding the research the charity supports families with CMN.
Sophie is doing great, and has a little brother Liam now, and as a family we’re in a really good place. The help we received from the charity to get to this position has been immense. I would love to help them out a little bit if I can.
