Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am going to be doing the London to Brighton Bike Ride on 19th June 2011. I am raising money for Alzheimers Society.

My father sadly started showing signs of early onset Alzheimers in his late 50's. I was his main carer for a few years before he went into a nursing home in April 2000. He passed away in August 2008.

I hope to raise as much money as I can as a tribute to his memory, to provide support for sufferers and their families and fund research into treatments and maybe even a cure to this devastating disease.

If I survive the 19th June, I hope this will be the first of many funndraising events.
