Thank you all for visiting my page, I would like to raise money for the fantastic charity Meningitis Now.

Here is my story:

My first episode of Meningitis was when I was three years old. I had Viral Meningitis and spent two days in hospital. I recovered well.

Unfortunately it happened again when I was five years old. That time it was Bacterial Meningitis and I wasnt so lucky. I was in hospital for seven days hooked up to drips and recieving very strong antibiotics. The outcome resulted in me losing my hearing. Although I struggled at times, I managed to stay in mainstream education and I am now in full time employment and have a partner and four year old son  

I completed my first marathon, Belfast Marathon in May 2017 with a time of 3:44:10. Next up, Lanzarote marathon complete in 3:59. Now London marathon in April 2018. I am training hard and looking forward  too a much better challenge.
