Story

My Nephew Tyler was born on the 10th March to my Brother Andrew and his wife Becky. Unfortunately the doctors told them that Tyler had a hole in his heart that would need surgery to fix. Tyler was taken in to Birmingham Childrens Hospital in May for the operation. It was a great success and Tyler is now doing really well. This is all thanks to staff at the hospital, who we owe a great deal. As a thankyou I have decided to join my Brother in the Bupa Birmingham Half Marathon on the 21st October 2012. Please show your support by using this page to make a donation to this very worthy cause.

About the charity

It's bewildering and unsettling for anyone going into hospital but especially for children and that is why we are a fundraising hospital. We raise funds to enhance the experience of our patients by providing state of the art medical equipment and facilities and creating a child-friendly environment.
