On Valentine’s Day 2020 I’m aiming to climb 2600 floors in a day to raise money for the Bristol Southmead Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), in loving memory and respect of the 2600 babies who don’t get to see their first birthday each year in England and Wales, and their families. 

I’ll be joined along the way by my wife Romi and many friends and family climbing the equivalent height alongside me. 

We attempt this climb on behalf of my sister Michelle, her partner Chris and their sons Jack, Tommy, and baby Jake who lost his life at Southmead NICU despite the staffs heroic efforts. Tommy has had a hard start in life, almost lost but now saved due to the incredible endless efforts made at this wonderful hospital and it’s relentless team.
