We provide hospice care in Worcestershire to give people the best quality of life

Story

I am running the London Marathon for St Richard's Hospice.

St Richard’s Hospice cares for adults with a serious progressive illness, improving their quality of life from diagnosis, during treatment and to their last days, also supporting their loved ones. Each year the hospice team supports more than 3,100 patients, family members and bereaved people in Worcestershire.

The hospice relies on donations to fund the majority of its specialist care to patients and their loved ones.

It cost £8.75 million to run the hospice in 2020/21, including patient care and support services. Every penny of the funds raised by the community makes a difference.

I feel incredibly privileged to be running the London Marathon 2022 for St Richard's Hospice a local charity very close to my heart.

I will be giving my absolute all in the 16 weeks of training, on the day of the marathon and most importantly to raise as much funds as possible for this outstanding charity.

Let the hard work and fundraising begin!
