This year I have the chance to run the 2 Oceans Marathon in Cape Town, which is a 56k (35 mile) run.

It seemed too good an opportunity to miss and also too good to not use for a worthy cause.

The company I work for, Nelson Thornes, supports the National Star Centre who work tirelessly to help mentally and physically handicapped individuals to lead a full and engaging life.

Their mission, to enable people with disabilities to realise their potential through personalised learning, transition & lifestyle services, is one that will continue for a huge amount of time and to assist in doing this I wanted to raise money for them.
