Growing up with undiagnosed asthma, I was never able to run for more than a few minutes, especially in the winter. Only after a couple of severe asthma attacks as an adult was I officially diagnosed, and only during lockdown in 2020 did I discover, thanks to Asthma + Lung UK, that I was undermedicated. Since receiving the right inhalers and medication, I have taken up running, and to my surprise can now manage long-distance running throughout the year. For my second half marathon, I'm returning to the town in which I grew up to raise money for Asthma + Lung UK. As a bonus, I’ll be joined by Caily, who’ll be running her first ever race, the Kids’ Kilometre!
