My darling Mother, Elizabeth, passed away on 7th September last year at the grand age of 95. Mum was a gracious giving lady - amazing Mother and friend - full of fun and always so positive. She put everyone else before herself - completely unselfish. Her faith and her family were the most important things to her, and if she could, she would always help anyone in need. A touching tribute from her God-daughter, Paula McFeely, said she was one of earth’s true angels.
In her memory, Guy and I and Guy’s Father (Glen who is 87) will walk The Camino in NW Spain in early May. We’ll be doing the final section of The Via De La Plata (1,000 km from Seville to Santiago de Compostela). We’ll be walking a total of 75 miles - 15 miles each day.
We have chosen Fresh Start as this would have been a charity close to Mum's heart and I know she would approve of our choice.
The experience of being homeless can have a devastating effect. Fresh Start help those who have been homeless settle into a new home and back into their community. Their Services help people get their life back on track, enabling them to make a home for themselves.
Thank you for your support. and please remember Elizabeth in your prayers .
