Ever-popular and attracting more supporters than ever, the national Brain Tumour Research Walk of Hope is back, taking place on Saturday 24th September 2022. Will you step forward?

Story

A very special, wonderful friend of mine has been diagnosed with this devastating disease. Rosie is an inspiration, she has faced everything with courage, bravery and a big dose of realism. As a family (with Alana age 6, Felix age 4 and Louis age 2) we are taking part in the Walk of Hope for Brain Tumour Research, and our aim is to walk 5 miles. At just 2, Louis' legs are still very little but he will do what he can and we will carry him (and probably the others!) the rest of the way. We want to raise vital funds for this charity to help find a cure for brain tumours so other families don't have to be dealt this devastating blow. Every bit of sponsorship will help, and spur us forward on the day! We will be walking for everyone affected by brain tumours but especially for Rosie, her partner John & their daughter Imogen.

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.
