Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Last year a close family member, Denise Edwards, lost her 15 year battle with cancer.  Some of her last few weeks and her last few days were spent in the Prince of Wales hospice.  These were some of the most comfortable times she had and immediately you saw her mood change. 

The Prince of Wales hospice is such a special and dignified place.  As well as catering for the patients they work with families to help them manage the grief and communicate the loss to children, etc.

I was amazed by their great work and want to give something back in memory of Denise Edwards.

BTW, this is no mean feat for me.... I once tipped the scales at over 18 stones and could not run for the bus.  Right now I am far from having a runners build, so this is not gimmie and deserves great generosity :-)
