Story
In 2014 myself and Claire, despite the concerns from mum, took on a 100km trek around the Isle of Wight in 4 days for Macmillan cancer support. We managed to raise around £700 for a great cause.
in February 2015, mum unfortunately took a turn for the worst and the cancer she had been battling for 5 years became too much. She fought so hard over the last 5 years, so we thought it was about time we fought hard too ...
in May 2016 myself and Claire aim to take on the 100km London2Brighton challenge. That means 100km in one go, with no overnight stops, in roughly 26-28 hours. Starting in Richmond and ending in Brighton.
This is quite simply an enormous task for us. Our feet were battered and bruised after 100km spread over 4 days so i am not looking forward to how they are going to feel after this.
Please please spare a donation for this great charity. They were a big part of mums last few months as i know they have been for so many other people also. They really do great work. We have upped our target to £1000 so please help us out!
