Story
One year ago I was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease, an incurable condition which, amongst many other things, makes it increasingly difficult to walk so my mate and fellow sufferer, Dave Clark thought it would be great idea to walk a helluva long way...... he's like that!
So, on September 11th we, along with an eclectic bunch of like-minded souls, are gonna walk 200 miles from coast-to-coast from St Bees in Cumbria on the edge of the Irish Sea to Robin Hood's bay on the North Sea coastline, traversing various national parks, walking up big hills and dodging Grizzlies (alright the last bits' an exaggeration) to raise money which will help fund the research that hopefully will one day find a cure.
All are welcome to join us on the walk for all or any part of it and please donate to this marvellous cause. Dave assures me that there are many pubs along the way but then he also said how d'ya fancy a stroll....
