Story
The Palmer family, and friends of ours, lost a very special woman earlier this year. She touched a lot of lives in many ways and I'm missing her a lot at the moment. Rather than wallow in these feelings, I thought I'd use them to do some good, and try and help a charity that helped her.
It's no secret that I'm rather fond of the booze. I love trying a new ale while watching footy with friends, relaxing with a whisky, doing some writing with a wine... A month without any alcohol is, basically, going to be a tough ask for me, so please chuck some dosh at me to ease the pain.
I can imagine mum wondering why on earth I'd want to give up something I enjoy so much, and the truth of it is that I DON'T want to give it up. I do want to do something for her, though, and for the charity that gave her reprieve in her last days, so please be as generous as you can.
