Keep on running

Hi
Recently my Mum passed away very suddenly, it's been a very difficult time for the family especially my Dad. I like to run and it's been a good escape as I learn to cope with the loss myself. Mum had Diabetes for 17 years and it caused her a lot of health problems especially with her eyes and her feet. In recent times not being able to go on walks with my Dad was very frustrating for her but she got on with things and was so determined she would not be held back by it. It wasn't Diabetes that took Mum away from us but knowing the impact it had on her I wanted to do something in her memory and help to raise money for Diabetes UK so they can continue to help thousands of people who desperately need their support.
To make it a reasonable challenge to part with your hard earned cash I've entered a number of races so hopefully you'll feel I've earned it. I'll add more races as they become available but so far I've entered the following:
April 16th Buckie 10k, April 22nd Balmoral 10k, May 14th Baker Hughes 10k, June 6th Metro 10k, June 11th Westhill 10k, June 18th Fetternear 10k, July 30th Ballater 10 Miles, August 27th Aberdeen 1/2 Marathon, September 9th Newmachar 10k
Thanks
Martin
