Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
My jog has unfortunately had to be delayed for a month because of a calf injury sustained whilst training (which became swollen and infected) - providing I recover from this in time, it is now rescheduled to take place on FRIDAY 25th JULY 2014.
Leprosy-affected people are neglected by having a low profile today. The disease of leprosy is "forgotten but not gone". The Nepal Leprosy Trust's work is based at Lalgadh Hospital and sponsorship from my'60-mile jog' along the Grand Union canal will support the in-patients work there. There is now a cure for leprosy and people's lives are being transformed by the help they receive there. I'm aiming to raise £6,000 in total - a big challenge! - please help me to meet it.
I've actually run the entire length of the Grand Union (147 miles) from Birmingham to London over 5 days, but 60 miles in one day is the most I have run in one go to date. Please make it worthwhile.
