Story
I am running in the Adidas Thunder Run on 26th July 2014. It consists of running a gruelling off road 10km route, which has to be completed as many times possible in 24hours. I will start running at 12:00hrs on Saturday 26th. I'll be running through the day, all through the night and following morning, to finish on Sunday 27th at 12:00hrs. (If I have started a 10km lap when the time is up, completion of the lap will count). I am aiming to run 100km, but have my mind set on running 100 miles!! This will be THE HARDEST challenge I have ever done in my life.
I will possibly experience :- fatigue, severe exhaustion, muscle damage, hallucinations, just to mention a few minor things to battle along the way... Lol.
It will all be worth it though to know that along with your donation, we will be giving premature babies and very sick newborn babies a helping hand that they need, in the first and most important stages of their life.
My daughter Alice, who was born 11 weeks premature and weighed just over 2 pounds, spent the first critical three months of her life in the Special Care Baby Unit at Whiston Hospital. This is why this cause is so close to our hearts, and why we feel we will be forever in their debt. So please donate, no matter how small, because every penny helps.
Thank you for reading this, and hopefully for donating.
