Living with any type of cancer feels isolating and stressful and local level support in emotional and practical challenges is a crucial complement to medical care.

Breast Cancer Support provide an established support network for anyone diagnosed, with nurses, groups and survivor volunteers. Their care is personalised and available at the local level. Support on offer takes into account the multifaceted nature of problems associated with breast cancer - including events targeted at young women with cancer and "lingerie evenings" for help finding bras, swimwear and prostheses. They offer information in a variety of accessible formats, including the app BECCA and Vita magazine.
