We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

During the last 5 years my beautiful wife has under gone treatment for breast cancer, including a mastectomy, chemotherapy, radiotherapy also intensive reconstructive surgery, then 5 years of hormone treatment. Whilst I was always there by her side sometimes I felt I wished I could do more. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the medical teams at the Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust Weston Park Sheffield  & the Northern General Sheffield for their wonderful care.

On the 29th April 2011 I will be cycling the Way of the Roses from Morecambe to Bridlington, 170 miles in 2 days This is my way of saying thank you to all the people who have been there for Sue & me, giving a little back through you, please give generously to help with the research into this destructive disease.

Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.Thank You

Mark
