Mark Welch's 100k Ranuary

Mark Welch's 100k Ranuary · 5 January 2021
I've been challenged to run 100k in January and although the peer pressure is high, supporting this amazing charity will give me the motivation I need to get out and run in the cold and wet. I only completed 'couch-to-5k' in mid-2019 so this is a big challenge for me!
One of my best mates, Sam, is a Consultant Doctor in the Sue Ryder Duchess of Kent Hospice in Reading and is aware more than anyone that we're currently facing an end-of-life care crisis, and their expert services are needed now more than ever before.
My work have a generous Matched Giving scheme which I'll be applying for to double my fundraising shown on this page.
Sue Ryder supports people through the most difficult times of their lives. Whether that’s a terminal illness, the loss of a loved one or a neurological condition – they’re there when it matters. Their doctors, nurses and carers give people the compassion and expert care they need to help them live the best life they possibly can.
