Story

Hi all,

Call us both stupid/insane and we'll take it as long as you throw some cash this way. We aim to travel 2000miles by this 3 wheeler above.  We'll be sleeping by the sides of roads, eating food that will give us more runs than Kepil Dev, and be forcd to repair the rickshaw wherever we break down.

To give you an idea of the speed we'll travel at, a rickshaw's top speed is 30mph assuming it's down a straight road with no traffic, and no potholes... ie it won't happen. So with an estimated speed of 13mph we're looking at 10hrs a day for 15 days straight.

So in exchange for laughing at our attempt -  what we need from you is a donation for Mercy Corps. You will funding a new Mercy Corps project in Jasodapur, a rural agricultural village in the region of Orissa, India. Orissa is one of the poorest states in India with roughly 40% of the population living below the poverty line. Check out the link..  http://www.mercycorps.org.uk/2010rickshawrunproject

Dig deep & thanks,
Jono & Weekesy
