We raise funds for equipment and expertise to help with early detection of cancer.

Story

Every penny of the money raised will go to the the Doncaster Cancer Detection Trust

On 25th April my Dad and I will start walking the Coast to Coast walk which is 192 miles. We would like to raise money towards a scanner for DRI. This will cost £600,000 and would transform the detection and treatment of cancer.

Initially we were not going to do it for charity but after my Dads neighbour lost his leg due to cancer and his wife was diagnosed with cancer a week later, we thought raising money towards a scanner for DRI would help others.

Thank you to those of you who have sponsored me and those of you who have still yet too. Yesturday (Sunday 18th April) we have had our photograph taken with Harry for the local paper The FreePress. Hopefully this will drum up some more sponsorship for all those Doncaster Rovers Fans who know Mr Harry Bacon.
