Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Those of you who know me will be aware that I'm quite attached to my long curly hair, which has gained me many nicknames ('Afro', 'Curly Wurly, 'Poodle' and 'The Guy with the Hair' to name a few). I've decided after having it for around 4-5 years that it's time to change, so I am going to have it all shaved off and then donated to the Little Princess Trust so that it can be made into wigs for children who have suffered from cancer and then lost it through treatment. As I have become known for my hair now I wanted to also try and raise money as well. Many of you have said I should get rid of the hair so now you can see it happen! I want to raise money for MacMillan Cancer Support, who work to give both medical and emotional help to those suffering from different forms of cancer. I chose this because both charities do so much to help by giving them the emotional support that they need. We've all known people who have suffered or been affected by cancer and I want to do all I can to support them.
I will post updates about when and where I'll be getting my hair shaved off. Any donations would be greatly appreciated, if you can spare just a pound it's all going to a great cause which will help a lot of people!
