Story
Hi guys,
Thanks firstly for visiting this site. As most of you know, I am pretty dumb but I managed to sink to a new level last year when I decided to sign up for the London marathon. Being able to run 26 miles has always fascinated me and is something that I have wanted to have a go at for a few years now. A couple of months into training and I now think running 26 miles is a ridiculously stupid idea and who ever invented the marathon is a fool!
On a happier note... When applying for this torture I was lucky enough to gain a golden bond place with the Bobby Moore fund. If you are not already aware of the great work carried out by this charity, please see the below information. I feel extremely proud to be representing such a great cause fighting against the increasing worry of cancer.
Ok... So in a nut shell, I'm running the marathon on the 25th April 2010 and I could really do with your help in raising some money. I have been set the target of £1966 by the charity so I would love to be able to break the £2000 mark for them. You can donate your hard earned pennies safe in the knowledge that my legs are constantly aching and I will probably need airlifting to hospital at some point on the course! My aim is basically to beat Gordon Ramsey on the day but I'm also pretty conscious of beating my Dads time when he had a go many moons ago!
Thankyou again... It really is massively appreciated.
