Mark Temple is raising money for Bible Society
Story
It's taken a while for me to make this page, because I wasn't sure I was going to do this! But with 8 weeks to go and after recovering from medial ligament damage from a footie match in January, I'm going for it: the Edinburgh Marathon 2016. It might be messy and slow, but I would like to ask for your support!
The Bible Society, a charity chosen by Lanchester Methodist Church, works to support literacy and reconciliation around the world. I recently heard our minister, Rev. Stuart Earl, talk about the positive impact projects in Cambodia have had on literacy rates amongst the poorest people there. It turns out my great-grandfather was its first General Secretary too!
