The Elise for Life Great Wall of China trek is all about brave and amazing people, and about giving hope to others.

115 very special people will collectively raise over £200,000 in October by trekking a section of the Great Wall over a 5 day period. The trek is the final leg of a 12 month effort to raise money to support Elise's appeal, The Christie hospital, and countless brave and inspirational people in their fight with the dreadful illness that cancer is.

Having just lost Elise's dad, Frank, to the same illness, not 12 months after her, this takes on a additional focus and significance for me.
