Thanks for taking the time to visit my Just Giving page.

 

As you are now aware I have entered the "Asics Edinburgh 2011 Marathon", which is my first and hopefully not my last marathon.

We all know how much work it takes to go for a gentle stroll let alone 26.2 miles. However I am driven to making sure I complete it in good time.

It is "event 4" from my proposed 12 events during 2011.

I am taking part in "The Edinburgh Marathon" to continue to raise money for Julia's House.

As a father myself, I can see how important a charity such as Julia's House is in supporting children and parents. I can’t imagine how  families cope with the pressure. But i do know that we can do something to aid them in making it easier
and less stressful. 
 
I have also kindly got backing from "Bournemouth Ink”, who will be sponsoring me in the event and are going to get involved in adding exposure to Julia's House and supporting the charity. This will hopefully lead to other local companies wanting to help to make a difference.

All I ask, is for you to take a minute of your time to think about what we can do to as individuals and dig deep and donate to make that small factor in putting a smile back on people’s faces.
 

I will suffer during the event, but not a tiny % as much as these kids currently do.
