This story began on the 26th September 2018 when my family and I was told that my Grandad (or Dandad as I’ve called him for as long as I can remember! ) has been privately suffering with Motor Neuron Disease for the last 2 years. 

I’ve never been a runner or jogger, and to be honest always struggled even at school to do long distances, so this scares the hell out of me! However this gives me the opportunity to raise as much money as I can and have a sense of achievement at the same time. But also to make my family proud!
