Story
In Sept 22 after a funny turn while driving my HGV I was taken to Southampton general hospital where I was diagnosed with a low level Glioma (Brain tumor). My life temporarily stopped and fear and confusion set in.
As a husband and a father you can only imagine what it's like being told this sort of news. My family are amazing and we are coping really well. Although I am not able to drive and I'm signed off long term from work I am able to run.
I've been an ultra runner for sometime now and thankfully the amazing Neuro team in Souhampton were happy for me to keep running.
I love Wales and spend a lot of time in the hills so decided to sign up for the WILDHORSE 200. A 200 mile running race starting in Chepstow and finishing at Wormshead on the Gower.
This will be my biggest challenge ever and would love to raise as much as possible for Brain Tumor Research in the process.
