Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

A few years ago my son James suggested cycling all the way from London to Monaco, the reward would be to watch the Formula 1 Grand Prix. We talked about it many times but could not commit the time due to work.

In 2014, two colleagues who were also good friends, were diagnosed with cancer. Mike Wright and Dave Corless are no longer with us they were true gentlemen, as anybody who knew them would confirm and I know that all their friends and family miss them dearly. Macmillan Cancer Support was an enormous help during their difficult time.

This gave me the urge to plan the London to Monaco Cycle Ride in their names and  raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.

I hope you are able to support Macmillan. We will need all of the encouragement you can offer for our 850 mile unsupported ride, which we aim to complete in 8.5 days cycling.

Training is tough, but the journey will get tougher as we need to complete 100 miles per day with loaded panniers and a hard saddle!
