Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am proud to be a Queen’s Nurse and along with my 2 primary school aged boys we have set ourselves the challenge this summer to cycle 400KM in total between the 3 of us during August 2020 whatever the weather (as long as it is safe to do so). All rides will be recorded using Strava with updates posted here regularly.
As a qualified District Nurse I am very privileged to work as a Senior Lecturer in District and Primary Care Nursing @uniofherts supporting post registration students undertaking their Specialist Community Nursing programmes in district nursing, community children’s nursing or general practice nursing.
The events of this year have absolutely brought home and demonstrated how critical district and community nurses are and is it so great for the profession that we have the QNI there to support and lobby for the continuing development of district and community nursing as well as offering a listening ear and helping hand to all district and community nurses going through tough times.
We are aware that this is a really tough year for all charities and we wanted to do a little something to hopefully help the QNI to be able to continue with the great and important work they do!
