Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have been looking for a way to combine some charity fundraising with something to keep me motivated and training hard. There are so many worthy causes but the good work of Prostate Scotland is one which is close to home. My Dad has prostate cancer and underwent surgery a few months back which wasn't 100% successful and has just finished 6 weeks of Radiotherapy, fingers crossed.

I thought a great way to encourage my Dad, as well as of course raise some funds for prostate research would be to cycle from my house in Kinross to my parents house in Inverness.

I am planning a weekend cycle end of June or into July (all weather dependant here in Scotland) and the route will be in the region of 160 miles, still looking for the best route to ensure lots of downhill stretches!

Training comes in fits and starts depending on my work travel schedule but gradually beginning to get a good degree of "bike fitness" built up.

Thanks for your support.

Mark
