So many of our lives are touched in some way by Cancer, whether its family members, friends or colleagues. 

From a personal perspective, I sadly lost my father last year to the disease and I, and the family miss him greatly.  He was an outgoing determined individual who loved nothing more than spending time outdoors; challenging himself and his own personal limits, whether walking or sailing.  

It therefore seems fitting that I should challenge myself, doing something I love, to help raise funds to help fight this disease.  

In later September I will be cycling from Lands End to John O’Groats, covering the c1000 miles in 12 days and would ask you to support me by contributing to this great cause.  Cancer Research is the world's leading charity dedicated to beating cancer and is my chosen charity.
