Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I have had my beard for quite some time so you can imagine how weird it will feel when I shave it off. I am shaving it off to raise money for the ward in Aberdeen Children's Hospital for children with Leukaemia and child cancer's. I feel if you can do something to help a child or make a difference in any way to a child's life with Leukaemia/child cancer then you should.
My beard shave will take place at the Lynx Ice arena before my last game of the season. Not only that, Aberdeen Lynx Ice hockey team committee have agreed to donate tickets to some of the children from the ward and their parent's to the game which is very generous of them. The children will get to meet the team, the mascot and maybe go home with a small gift.
My cousin Rachael lost her battle to Leukaemia when she was just 5 and it affected our family then and still does to this day so it is a cause close to our heart's
You can come along and watch this event at the game:
