18 months ago my dad suffered a severe stroke that completely devastated his life, and the life of those around him. He spent nearly 12 months in hospital, and is still battling on to recover. The Stroke Association provide support and undertake research with a goal of reducing the number of strokes, and helping those that do have one to recover.

On the 9th June myself and Holly Crawshaw will be taking part in Nightrider 2012. Setting off at 1:00am we will attempt to cycle 100k around London. Resisting the urge to sleep or hit the pubs, we will try to navigate a route stretching from Alexandra palace to Crystal Palace and back, taking in the City of London, Westminster, the Emirates Stadium, and may other landmarks. Any money you can afford to sponsor me will be much appreciated.
