Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
This is a fantastic challenge for me personally as well as helping a local charity Kangaroos with their amazing efforts with local children.
'Walking is easy...' 'It can't be that hard...' 'It'll be fun...' - when I first agreed to this these were the thoughts in my head. After all I do quite a bit of exercise and keep fit... Yeah, reality hit when we had completed a few practice walks. Not because I was completely shattered (although blistered, sore feet and achy) but because we had taken 6.5 hours and had only completed about 1/3 distance. It then made me realise that we are not only going to have to do this another two and a bit more times, but also it would take another 14hours without any stops!! a bit of worry then set in! 'how can my body cope?', 'can you really walk that far?', 'how do you find time to practice these distances, when each practice takes most of a day?, 'how can I do this with no sleep?' - This is when I set this page up to get it out there, no going back and make it public. I would really love it if you could support me on this journey and in-turn for this amazing charity, plus I promise not to post pictures of my mangled feet afterwards :-)
