On 10th of June Mr Mark Gillies & Mr Alasdair Munro will set off from John O'Groats to Melrose (Via the English Border) for Alzheimer Scotland. We are in no way cyclists. In fact we both just bought our bikes on 1st April, so this may end up being the most Foolish (see what i did there!) thing we've ever attempted. 

We're also going a route which is apparently not recommended, as you go against the wind. Anyway, we're confident we've made the right decision...

Don't get us wrong, we know this will be rank and we'll probably not be friends afterwards, but it's for a great cause. 

Dementia is an illness that affects the brain, making it harder to remember things or think as clearly as before. We'll be lucky to remember how tough these 500 miles are going to be. So please give generously.
