Story
In February of this year my brother-in-law Chris was diagnosed with Hodgkin Lymphoma which is a type of blood cancer affecting the lymphatic system. Since then he has endured many cycles of intensive chemotherapy with an inspirational strength and resilience and thankfully is now on the road to recovery.
Chris’ treatment was possible due to vital research being carried out into blood cancers like Hodgkin Lymphoma which we thank God for daily. Advances in Lymphoma treatment are down to the invaluable research carried out by charities like Leukaemia and Lymphoma NI who are the only charity in Northern Ireland dedicated to funding blood cancer research.
On 28th August I will be completing a hike of the 7 highest mountains in the Mournes in order to raise money for Leukaemia and Lymphoma NI to help others going through this type of cancer in the future and I would really appreciate your donations for the work of this life saving organisation.
