We provide help and hope to everyone living with dementia.

Story

Thankyou for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Alzheimer's & other forms of dementia are a rapidly increasing year on year, with the average age of sufferers dropping at the same time. While the syptoms vary between forms the overall result is the same - a terrible disease that robs the sufferer of their memory, personality & mobility, & ultimately their life.

Along with my younger sister we will be trekking 26 miles in the Stonehenge event to raise money for the Alzheimer's society, having lost our father to Alzheimer's/dementia just over five years ago. Our initial team target is £1000.00, but if we can reach (or exceed!) £2000.00 then we will do the walk dressed as Lord of the Rings characters.

We plan to carry out a number of fundraising activities ourselves, but any donations you can provide - no matter how small - will help us reach our targets.
