TOUGH MUDDER NORTH WEST........I MUST BE OUT OF MY MIND !

12 miles across country with 25ish insane obstacles to tackle !

Tough Mudder is an endurance event series in which participants attempt 10-12 mile long military-style obstacle courses. Designed by British Special Forces to test mental as well as physical strength, obstacles often play on common human fears, such as fire, water, electricity and heights. The organizers encourage teamwork, and many obstacles are designed to be very difficult to complete alone. The events are untimed, and an average 78% of entrants successfully complete the course.

 So here's the deal, every one of us has either suffered some sort of mental illness in our lives or knows somebody who has struggled mentally for whatever reason. Mind is not normally one of the charities at the top of people's lists when thinking of donating.

This is a chance for you to not only support Mind but sponsor me to finish this event. On average only 78% of the starters of this event actually finish, so more donations equals much more determination to finish.

Mind also work with our troops, helping them with the likes of combat stress and coping with injury rehabilitation so both these charities are closely related and worthy of our support.
