Cancer touches an increasing number of people's lives. There are fewer and fewer people who haven't already been impacted by it, and fewer still who won't be in the future.  It has affected my immediate family and that of other family and friends in recent years: I'm supporting Cancer Research in their fight to beat the disease and the suffering it causes.

The Dart10k, run by the Open Water Swimming Society is a popular and fun event with a mini festival feel, but it's also a real challenge - it's the aquatic equivalent of a marathon.
