We run a school in Northern India to educate children from a local slum area

Story

Even in normal times, the children at Bright Sparks School in north India have difficult lives. Now, with the lock-down,  their situation has become extreme. All work has stopped and their parents cannot earn.

They are queuing for daily 'langar', cooked food provided by local Sikh temples. But there is not enough to feed everyone twice daily. One plate of food is given per family.

Bright Sparks has already sent some emergency funds. We need to raise more. Small shops and veg stalls remain open. We want to help the families fend for themselves.

Please donate any amount, and please pass this request on to friends. Thanks so much.

Donating through JustGiving is totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity.
