The Virgin Money London Marathon has a big anniversary in 2020. #The40thRace is here! Join our team as they move 26.2 miles further for a cure - a cure can't wait!

Story

In 2016 my amazing sister Lily was diagnosed with a brain tumour. She has since had three brain surgeries and now lives with a brain shunt. Lily and my family regularly support The Brain Tumour Charity and now it’s my turn to do something!

In 2019, 94 runners united to complete the world-famous Virgin Money London Marathon course, raising over £304,000. 2020 will see the 40th edition of the event take place, and I will be running the famous 26.2 miles for The Brain Tumour Charity. The Brain Tumour Charity is the worlds leading brain tumour charity and the largest dedicated funder of research into brain tumours globally. Committed to saving and improving lives, we're moving further, faster to help every single person affected by a brain tumour. We're set on finding new treatments, offering the highest level of support and driving urgent change. And we're doing it right now. Because we understand that when you, or someone you love, is diagnosed with a brain tumour a cure really cant wait.
