Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
A race much talked about between us girls but now a reality, the London Marathon 2012. Grace and I have landed in a wet UK, well we never expected that early spring to last. Andy is feeding us up with oat porridge and yummy foods, and even enjoyed a glass of post wedding wine.
Due to Easter and the horse show we have tapered as adviced and are now busy reading up on the Race info and trying to get into the 'zone'.
Thanks to Wendy, Alexia, Mum and the Bernabe family for their cash donations. A huge thank you to everyone who has generously donated to my page, I never thought I would raise the target amount but am overjoyed to see I have exceeded and I know that will help me run better on the day knowing we have all helped those with spinal injury through Aspire.
It was a feat to run up and down the Northern bypass dodging container lorries, petrol tankers and double loaded beer trucks. Andy and Johan were invaluable and I know are proud of us, and we thank them for their support. We have now collected our race bib and chip and are working on the wet cold proof attire so far I think I am going to look like a Christmas Tree! Blue gloves, blue shoes, red laces, black socks top and pants with a white charity top, if you see me coming shout my name and cheer me on!
