Hello there!!...
So you’re wondering what this is all about... well I will fill you in!
As most of you know last year Feb 2010 our world fell apart because I was diagnosed with breast cancer, after having two operations, undergoing 5 months of chemotherapy, 3 solid weeks of radiotherapy and now 12 months of an infusion drug called Herceptin we are slowly getting back on our feet.. Fixing back together our life with a little glue and lots of love. When I was going through Chemotherapy it was an awful time and of course Allan watching the woman he loves go through hell we said that once we were on our way to being normal again (well as normal as he and I can be haha) we would do our best to do our bit for the cause.. Perhaps we could help prevent this happening to someone else, our family/friends or even strangers, help by raising money to fund research to find a cure!!
So here we are... although I am still going through treatment and we still have some gluing and loving to do!! We are ready to try and make a difference!
The Challenge.. We plan on walking the London monopoly board, 15 miles along the city streets we will visit each of the famous streets and photograph our evidence every step of the way.. There are 22 streets along with 4 stations (there is a map to show the route if you click on the photo's) Date of challenge to be confirmed will update asap!
We are asking that you sponsor us for this challenge and maybe spread the word to your family and friends.. Perhaps they will sponsor us too.. No one is safe or untouchable breast cancer can affect anyone at any time.. I was 32 when diagnosed and have met ladies younger than myself.. So for the sake of all the ladies you know help us to raise money for cancer research..
