Story

Thanks for visiting my page!

Noreen, my best friend since our schoodays, has been diagnosed with Breast Cancer and I want to do something to support her in her fight.  Both her and husband Phil have been hit by terrible illness recently and there is so little we can do to help apart from show support.  I have decided to have all my hair cut off to show solidarity with Noreen, and the charity she has chosen to benefit from any goodwill we generate is Macmillan Cancer Care.  As we were school friends and I work in a school, (and I also suffer with skin cancer),  I decided to ask my Head Teacher if we could do the actual "Cut" at school - and maybe get the children involved.  She has agreed - and we are having a "Sun Awareness Day" on July 16th, and then at 2.30pm I will have my head shaved in front of the whole school..... Our hope is to teach them about many aspects of the subject.
